TITLE: Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapist Footsteps Community Services (FCS):Footsteps is a for-purpose organisation with ambition to support the community nationally, specifically people who have been marginalised or those at risk to be. You will be working alongside other Allied Health practitioners hence an opportunity to learn and develop new skills especially within the NDIS industry.Summary of the Position:The Occupational and Speech Therapists are client facing roles focused on delivering direct services to clients. Those roles include: •	Deliver Occupational Therapy/Speech Therapy services to clients with varying needs. •	Work as a part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver positive outcomes that align with the clients’ goals.•	Complete relevant assessments and provide client centred interventions.•	Undertake high-level reports/Assessments (NDIS and others).•	Prescribe and advise on assistive technology, specialist equipment and training. •	Liaise with relevant stakeholders.•	Achieve company KPIs.•	Effectively manage case load with strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Accountability:Therapists report to a senior practitioner/Team Leader and are supervised by one of FCS’ qualified employees. Individual attributes:•	Friendly and passionate about supporting others.•	Able and willing to challenge the status quo.•	Achieve clients’ satisfaction through delivering quality service and value for money.•	Demonstrate thirst for continuous personal improvement.•	Willingness to learn new technology for communication, reporting and collaboration.•	Continue developing interpersonal &amp; communication skills to build rapport and trust with clients, their relevant stakeholders, and the communityMain responsibilities: •	Manage day to day activities linked with the delivery of Occupational Therapy services. •	Undertaking high level assessments/reports for the NDIS (and others).•	Meet budget and growth target as well as individual and team KPIS.•	Develop and maintain dashboard and reports as identified by Management.•	Address employees and clients’ needs in a timely fashion.•	With a can-do attitude, provide solutions to day-to-day hurdles as they arise. •	Respond to allocated clients’ enquiries regarding the services provided.•	In circumstances where Footsteps is not the best option for the client, work with the client or referrers to find a more suitable alternative support pathway with other allied health professionals.•	Oversee the implementation, and on-going monitoring of plans and assessments.•	Establish and maintain a good rapport and communication with clients and stakeholders.•	Communicate with individuals in a respectful and age-appropriate manner.•	Complete all necessary documentation related to service delivery.•	Participate in services development and planning activities, training and development activities and team meetings (team meeting attendance is compulsory). •	Contribute to a positive workplace environment grounded in mutual respect and professionalism with all colleagues.•	Contribute to the evaluation and analysis of guidelines, policies, and procedures applicable to their clinical/professional work and may be required to contribute to the supervision of discipline specific students.•	Contribute to workplace education through provision of seminars, lectures, and presentations. •	Contribute and participate in quality improvement practices for the business unit.Leadership:•	Promote a positive workplace environment.•	Develop self and others.•	Develop brand recognition and awareness.•	Demonstrate integrity in all business activity.•	Resolve conflict appropriately. •	Participate in the design and development of new allied health services.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Key selection criteria:Mandatory:•	Relevant Bachelor’s degree or tertiary equivalent. •	Valid AHPRA registration (for OT).•	Hold, or be willing to obtain, a current criminal history screening positive notice card; and a current Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening, first aid qualifications.•	Graduate - A minimum of 1-year experience in a customer centric role.•	Others- A minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience in an Occupational/Speech Therapy service role. •	Good knowledge of the NDIS principles and processes.•	Strong networking skills.•	Strong report writing and computer skills.•	Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn.Appreciated:•	Experience of the Health/Allied Health Sector.Interpersonal Skills:•	Excellent communication skills and ability to establish an effective rapport with clients and their families.•	Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and abilities.•	Ability to provide written reports as necessary.•	Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.•	Demonstrated ability to give instructions as well as follow reasonable directions from management.Other:•	Roadworthy vehicle and current driver’s license.•	Resourcefulness, solution focused.•	Initiative and the ability to innovate.•	Thirst for personal growth.

Footsteps offers students and emerging practitioners the opportunity to join our Teams to gain valuable experience.While the majority of individuals join Footsteps as part of a "Student Placement", Footsteps also offers flexible Traineeships opportunities for future practice leaders.Our training program is based on a peer support approach where you will be paired with a senior practitioner and a supervisor.Opportunities are currently open within the following Teams:<ul>

<li>Support Coordination Team (including complex support coordination).</li>
