Logistic Coordinator

* Full-time permanent Business Development Manager Position available * Diverse, inclusive and supportive work environment - Ongoing training provided and career development opportunities* Company Values of Integrity, Safety, Excellence &amp; InnovationWhat's the Role?The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a key role within SILA’s Sales Team. This role is responsible for improving the market share of the company; building key customer relationships; identifying business opportunities; negotiating and closing business deals; and maintaining an extensive knowledge of the current market conditions. The Business Development Manager also manages current client relationships, maintaining the expected service quality and effectively influencing repeat business. <ul>
<li>Capitalizing on warm leads as well as being a ‘hunter’ for new customers including sourcing and responding to tenders and EOIs.</li>
<li>Establishing a customer base by proactively targeting key industries with the goal to secure new and repeat business.</li>
<li>Managing existing customer relationships.</li>
<li>Having a good understanding of markets, initiating customer contact to pursue and develop opportunities in local &amp; regional areas.</li>
<li>Negotiating rates with customers.</li>
<li>Networking effectively within the industry to meet key contacts.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills - written and oral</li>
<li>A minimum of 5 years industry sales and business development experience </li>
<li>An understanding of Cargowise One, would be beneficial.</li>
