Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Data and Insights Capability Lead to spearhead the development and management of our data and analytics capabilities. <li>5+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or related roles. </li>
<li>Proven success in developing and executing data strategies that drive business value. </li>
<li>Exceptional leadership and team management skills. </li>
<li>Proficiency in data visualization tools and data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R). </li>
<li>Strong knowledge of data governance and data privacy regulations. </li>
<li>Outstanding communication and presentation skills. </li>
<li>Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus. </li>

Data and Insights Capability Lead 

We are looking for a passionate Intermediate or Senior Software Engineer to lead the design and development of our unique software platform.Your responsibilities will include collaboration with our tech team including software engineers, data scientists and UX/UI designers. You will gather user requirements, define system functionality, and communicate with our external software stakeholders. Responsibilities:<ul>
<li>Creating new queries/mutations for our GraphQL API</li>
<li>Designing and building new data models</li>
<li>Expanding our backend’s event-based architecture</li>

Software Engineer (Full Stack with DevOps experience)

We do this by deploying our Energy Value Platform (EVP) on energy use cases to understand the impact of variable energy on operations and providing Australians with options to reduce their carbon emissions and save money. We're seeking a talented and dynamic Test and QA Analyst. This role will be responsible for planning, design, management, execution and reporting of testing activities, as well as defect identification and management. This role is responsible for supporting functional testing for various departments within the Product and Tech area across various phases of testing including but not limited to System testing, Integration testing, Regression, and Production Verification Testing. The Testing Analyst will be required to design tests to ensure that product issues, key risks associated with development initiatives and campaigns are adequately understood and documented.This position will ideally suit a candidate with more than 3+ years in a testing environment that is now looking for a new challenge, in a scale up environment. The successful candidate will setup and enhance our testing environment and optimize testing capabilities. You will understand best testing practices deeply and leverage your experience with triaging issues ensuring a timely resolution of issues. Responsibilities<ul>
<li>Collaborate with the product team, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and design.</li>
<li>Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on user stories and technical specifications.</li>
<li>Understand, analyse, and test email communications.</li>
<li>Conduct System testing, Integration testing, Regression testing, and Production Verification Testing to ensure the software meets the specified requirements.</li>
<li>Management of testing regime across various disciplines including but not limited to Email Development, Web development, Offer Portal development, maintenance and controls.</li>
<li>Identify, log, and track defects in the product using defect tracking tools.</li>
<li>Manage defect lifecycle from identification to closure, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with the development team.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and functionalities.</li>
<li>Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to provide insights from a testing perspective.</li>
<li>Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the quality of the product.</li>
<li>Generate detailed test reports and metrics for management and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Understand, analyse, and test the page views, events and custom data tracking for analytics platforms.</li>
<li>In depth understanding of in browser testing such as monitoring network and console logs.</li>
<li>Participate proactively in team meetings including but not limited to: stand-up meetings, sprint planning, requirements gathering sessions, project test case review.</li>
<li>Stay updated with the latest industry trends, testing tools, and best practices to bring innovation to the testing process.</li>

</ul>What you’ll bring to the role: <ul>
<li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles, preferably within a SaaS environment.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.</li>
<li>Experience with SaaS products and understanding of cloud-based architectures.</li>
<li>Ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases based on both functional and technical requirements.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.</li>
<li>Proven experience testing SaaS products built on Python with SQL databases.</li>
<li>Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira or similar.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Confluence, Figma, or other design and documentation tools is a plus.</li>
<li>Prior experience in a cross-functional team environment, working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in identifying and resolving complex product issues.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication, and collaboration skills.</li>
</ul>Ideally you will also have some experience working as an IT Administrator, or the skills to do so, including; (Desirable)<ul>
<li>Setting up user accounts, permissions, and understanding system security protocols.</li>
<li>Basic understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and troubleshooting network issues.</li>
<li>Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure including setting up, managing, and troubleshooting instances and services.</li>
<li>Experience with backup tools and methodologies, ensuring data integrity and availability.</li>
<li>Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and understanding of encryption techniques.</li>
<li>An understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems like Git, and familiarity with tools like Jenkins or Travis CI.</li>
<li>Experience working alongside development teams, assisting them with environment setups, deployment, and troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Ability to document IT processes, setups, and configurations clearly for reference by the QA and development teams.</li>
